German-language manuals for the use of captured PPSH's were printed
and distributed in the Wehrmacht. If anyone has or knows of one, I'd
love to have an original or reprint.....

I really like the PPSH41 and never turn down the opportunity to fire one. The modern attachments in the last photo would be nice to try. 'tis amazing to fire 71 rounds into a 3-4 foot pattern at 100 meters....

Very nice!! As you mentioned; very hard to find one in this condition.
The one I owned came out of a rice patty in Viet Nam and looked like it. But it performed flawlessly with steel cased cartridges. Brass cases would have the rim ripped off by the extractor.
It was dated 1942 and was registered under the '68 amnesty.

I have never seen them before, always 44-45 dated ones....
Are the earlier ones more difficult to find?

photo was taken, during "The Cold War"... . I think that photo
dates itself to that time period.

No prob. Those soldiers are Russian however (Russian eagle on sleeve patch) in this years Victory Parade in Moscow, the 63d anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany. It was the first parade of this magnitude to be held since 1990.

Great example of a great, iconic weapon captainhoot. Pretty suprising to see the picture of the one in Iraq. Too bad the Marine wouldn't be able to bring it back.
