    P38 magazines ...

    Hi all,

    Are this magazines war time or not?

    Hi Kriuks,

    They are post-war. The wartime mags never had the Walther banner on them.

            Hi Kriuks,

            Tobysauer is correct. Also, it was inspected by Walther and made after about March of 1943. The small "v" after the P.38 means that the tube was extended by 2mm from the previous design.

                I knew that the "v" came around march 1943, but I never knew what change had been done to mags with that marking. Nice to know

                But still the question is open to me: is the V short for Verbessert or Verlängert?
