What is the current gun law regarding the purchase of a pistol or rifle from an individual. Be it thru the mail or in person. What is required?

if it is a c&r and it is mailed it must go to some with a ffl or c&r license.most states have there own laws as to sale face to face .if you have a c&r you will need to get all info off the buyers dl .if neither has a license just pay the money and get the gun.that is the way it is in tn as long as it is ftf . some sellers will still want your dl info
