MG34/42 Sling

Hi guys, is this a WW2 MG sling? To me it looks like a post war MG3 sling, does anyone have a picture of a genuine MG34/42 sling so I know what I am looking for?

It is marked on the metal Also is there a difference between a MG34 sling and MG42 sling?

Attachment buckle for the pistol grip end of the sling should have a WaA stamped into the side of it. Leather may be stamped with a WaA.

Yeah, like that.

The MG34 has a different width buckle than the MG42. I can't remember which is more narrow off the top of my head.
