    MG markings

Hi guys, has anyone seen any MG markings like this? Seems to be stencilled on rather than stamped, any thoughts?

Not stencilled, but electro-pencilled! This way of markings hardened parts was not uncommon practice. Typical items marked this way was MG bolts and tool-gauges. The eagle is "hand-carved" (as they had to be), but still very good, so it was done by a very scilled operator. I bet the marking is right as rain!
