Japanese Nambu disassembly

I feel like a total idiot asking this one... I just picked up a Type 14, but I can't for the life of me get the trigger guard to come off. I've got the firing pin and spring removed, the barrel pushed back and the mag release depressed, but it won't give AT ALL. Doesn't even feel like it wants to move. Any help?
