    inert 7.92 belts

    Can anyone advise?

I recently bought an MG34 and am now thinking about an inert belt of 52 rounds with starter tab.

If I wanted all the cases to be wartime dated with an original belt and starter, would should I expect to pay here in the UK?

    Any recommendations on dealers?

    TIA

The belt and starter tab are not too expensive and will be fairly easy to get hold of.
The wartime dated rounds maybe slightly more difficult to get? It's a long time since I bought any so I'm a bit out of touch with prices but I'd guess at anywhere between £1.00 and £3.00 each?? I'm not sure how easy they are to get hold of nowadays or where would be the best place to try, possibly some of the bigger deact dealers?

Be careful with importing things like this from germany!
A dealer in the uk http://www.raymills.co.uk/
who sells wartime dated deact rounds for £1.00 each I think he sells belts for £10.00 each
I recently bought some deact rounds from him good duy to deal with

            Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the replies and suggestions.

I'm in contact with Ray and looking at the options for a wartime dated belt.

            Regards,

            Ken
