    question about MP44

    Hi everybody!
    I am hesitating to buy an MP44.
    I have a question, looking the picture with atention, the peephole or front sight of the weapon does not seem to be complete. It is in good condition? It is complete? it is normal? in other MP44 weapons the peephole seems to be bigger.I attach a picture of it. Do the MP44 different kinds of peephole?
    I have been told that it is original and as it should be.

      it seems by drawings all the pheepole in MP44 are bigger

        Hi there,I take it that you are talking about the missing sight hood/cover which is detachable and once reattached would make the end sight look taller. The one in your picture is missing.Regards Hans.

            If you are bothered by it ask the seller is the magazine a waffeamt marked(original) example as these can some times have the east german magazines that are marked mp44 on one side and "1001" on the other with no waffenamt mark,to upgrade to an original mag will set you back at least £100.
