    MP38 Muzzle nut

This muzzle nut is not the same as I've seen on other guns. Could it be post war made by the norwegian army.

This is the correct muzzle nut for the MP.38, it is also seen on early production MP.40.s

Do you have more shots of the weapon?

    Steve.

Indeed, this is the early muzzle nut. later the muzzle nut got a groove. This groove was made for the rubber muzzle cap. As far as I know there are 5 different versions of the muzzle cap. Maybe even more. (see picture on my website)

                    Hello Jägermeister,

fantastic collection of MP38s !! Haven't seen more than 2 together till now.
Are they still in original shape, not deactivated ?
Here in Luxembourg we may have them unchanged with a special collector's license.

                    Thanks for showing :

                        Superb collection....
Is the bottom one a 'slab -side' MP.40?
I notice the three MP.38 s have been converted to have the bolt safety.

They all look great, thanks for showing them.

                        Steve.
