Export boxed MG34

HI men,did anyone else buy one of these boxed MG34s that were ex Portugue se and turned up some years imported by Ryton Arms.I know these might not have the same desirability as some other MGs but they are nice with all matching nos and in fine condition. Any one know what might have filled the empty space next to the tool pouch,perhaps a gurtrommel?
