FN 1922 32acp pistol value question

I saw a Fabrique Nationale 1922 32 acp with the German proofs and matching numbers for sale. The finish looked 80%, had matching numbers, and had a magazine. They were asking $300, is that a fair price?

    Greetings from California,
I would say that is a fair price, the store I go to that sells C&R firearms want about 600 for there FN22's and I would say there condition is 80-85% and the rougher ones are about 400 and were talking having rust on the slide catch. I would say 300 doesnt sounds bad,

I would agree with Curt 300 is very reasonable.

I agree that $300 is an averave price for a FN Model 22 but I would want one waffenamped for that price. It's rare for some reason to find these in truly excellent condition but I managed to pick up one in that condition with French police markings awhile back. These are also still fun shooters.

I agree. $300 and up, is the going rate of these now. You would be very lucky to find one in good condition for $250 or less these days.

I offered them $250 and they took it. I will post pics when I get it after the waiting period. Thanks to all for the help.

In the meantime here's a little eye candy for you all. This example is in virtually unissued condition:

                    Jim,

This is nice. Of course you have Anthony Vanderlinden's book to figure the shipdate?
Can we see the other side of your candy, pretty please with sugar on it?
