I'm interested in buying this Hungarian P37 holster to use for one of my luftwaffe displays. The holster looks original to me however I would like some other opinions. The seller didn't present any pics of the stamps on the inside. I have seen these holsters being offered each week on ebay from the Russian Federation. There must be hundreds of them available. I don't have a problem with the 2 different leather tones I noticed however I have noticed many of the ones on ebay have the same 2 different leather tones. Thanks for looking folks.

I agree with Bill. Der Feindflug does not give us much to go on. But the holster that he posts looks to be a Russian captured WWII German issue. Given that Russian captured German manufactured P37 pouches must outnumber Hungarian made P37 pistols by a ratio of something like 5:1 it would be surprising if there was any real market for fake P37 holsters – at least whilst the Russian supplies from the salt-mines hold up.
I recently bought an unisssued P37 Russian captured holster at Beltring and now I have the more difficult task of locating a matching unissued Hungarian P37 pistol which seem to be few and far between.
