    from the vets family

    I purchased this group at an estate auction of a Local WW2 vet. I am trying to find a little more history about the vet. All I know for now is that Lt. William M. Murray (dog tags pictured) was the original owner of this piece and brought it home after the war.

    It is a Colt 1911A1 made in 1943
