              Looks like a should holster for a 1911. Probably made in post war Europe.

                    The holster you have is a copy of the M3 shoulder holster for the 1911/1911A1 pistol, (home made) looking at the stitches you can determin that it is handsewn, the snap button is probably french and should read I think VINOIT ! The holster is very well worn, so it must have been around for quite some time, how long is anybody´s guess. The pop rivets have been around since WWII (but the original holster was sewn). I hope that this will help!
