              thanks for posting them ace.

              a brief history of it is.. i got it from the ardenne many years ago. the top cover and butt were missing. probably removed by the soldier before he dumped it. the rest of it was as you see it apart from cleaning that is. the bipod still has to be cleaned properly. the damage to the jacket is severe. in one place it has severed the metal in half. now for the part that will get you all envious, it only cost me $200. thats what you call a bargain, but back then it was expensive. i have been collecting relics for about 15 years well before it became popular. they now seem to be fetching big money. i hope i can get more pictures on for you all.

                      mmmmm Not quite a '34

                      heres a couple that arnt MG34's ,thought that they may keep that beautiful G41 company. These two share the safe with the MG34 posted a while back. One bnz41 (lower ) the other fxo42. enjoy! PS looking for a sling to fit them also loading tool and pair of pouches...long shot but if you can help let me know.

                          Hi Ace, Both are LIVE , fxo example has a mis matched lower receiver which is also fxo marked and has seen a lot of service. bnz is 100% matching and its in beautiful order.

                              Ace we are allowd to keep them live but are not to use them so they are collectables only just like the MG34 I previously posted. There are circumstances where they can be used ,theatrical use for example but I have not persued this option as I think the less attention the better .
                              Have a look on MP40.nl and see a clip of one in action.
