Well that's also a nice one isn't it. Too bad about those Russian capture markings. You can find those MG34 more easily than those not captured by the Russians. Who did the activation ? Never seen this ! Mine is British deactivated. The only thing that you can see is a very small cross (sabels) with Queens crown.
Nevertheless, it looks OK too me. Nice, proper MG34.

Another nice early MG34, very very nice. as for the R/C markings...well I dont understand why people have such a dislike for them and R/C guns in general, Ok 100% as issued would be nice but at least with a R/C is likley to have seen action in the harshest conditions imaginable and an early one like the BSW may well have been in service during operation barberossa.
My own one is 1944 dot, R/C , mismatched and not uncommon but still a nice peice.
Thanks for showing such a nice peice and great pics.

                            Survivor poll ?

Hey guys thier are some nice bits of kit appearing on this thread, how about
sending me some details and i will start to form a log of the survivors out thier.
Dont have to give your location but the details of the weapon would be good.

If you are up for it let me know and i will post up a starter thread specifically to
download the info to or send me a pm via the forum.

What sort of date range shall we start with ? Or do you reckon we just go for it ?
