    Browning HP with Tangent sights...

    Hello gang.

Here is my Browning HP with tangent sights (to 500 meters, no doubt !) {yeah, right !!} and slotted grip with rare holster/stock.
It was one of the first peices i acquire in my collecting. It does not have
waffenampts, has lots of import marks (?). It is all matching, with 95%
    finish.
It is much fun to drop the hammer on this puppy with the holster stock.
Whole different animal with the stock attached.
    Enjoy !!!

Any chance of getting some clearer pictures of the various markings?

                  Thanks, History.

I really like it. Whatever the markings represent, it is special to me because you don't often find slotted grip AND tangent sights together
in the WWII vintage Browning HP's. No waffenampts, though.
This was one of my fisrt love's, when I first started collecting, and before I knew my arse from a hole-in-the-ground !!! ( I still don't, but
I did pretty good with this one).
As I recall, I did not pay much for it either !!
I will try to get better pics of the markings, but between me and the
camera, we don't do so good !!!

Nice score Andrew, Browning HP have been a favorite of mine since my army days when I was first introduced to them.

NICE! These are indeed fun to shoot with stocks. Years ago when I was in Hawaii a guy gave me a stock and slotted mainspring housing for 1911A1's. They were evidently made in Lebanon. Wish I had kept it.
Your Browning is really nice. Thanks for sharing.

                          Date determination?

                          Dears,

How can you see from which year a tangent Belgian marked HP is?

                          Thanks,
                          Kris
