    are there Fake German Wwii Flare Guns?...........there are only a couple of variations..........postwar ones dont look very close to the real deals

      There is a Chinese made Copy of the German Heer Model flaregun, Very similar to the WWII except that Each regular Screw or pin in the frame has an extra set screw.

      The Germans did it in WWI on the Hebel, But not during WWII.

      One of the Well known importers had some Chinese Copys of the Heer, probably WWII and Korea era that they stamped with WWII codes like ayf ( note that ayf is a legitimate German Makers code on the model Heer )!

      They Screwed up some rare Chinese flareguns trying to fake common German flareguns !

        Hi,

        By the way, there are some fakes concerning Sturmpistole and Kampfpistole..
        You can see them from time to time on eBay for instance... be very carefull, there are done very well (copy of original ones).
