need help with the scope mount to see if its good or bad. the rifle is a g43 duv 44 sn#747 if the scope mount is good what would be a good price for the rifle scope and mount ? thanks for your help

I agree, the mount is not an original.......I would like to see better photos of the rifle too.......The bluing appears strong on the bolt carrier and scope rail, but weak on the receiver......It's an early BLM G43, so finish should be pretty consistant (other than normal handling) throughout IMHO.....Poor lighting perhaps?.......Stock is a BLM made one w/correct bakelite handguard....Bodes

James, More information would be needed......Stock should be serial #'d matched with the other numbered components......Does it have a muzzle nut, cleaning rod, and front sight protector?.......Are these parts original?.....Stock manual, spare parts?.....How much original finish left?......Is the magazine original?.....$2K+ if it's a mis-matched shooter.....$3.5K+/- with matching numbers and a repro mount.......Bodes

Certainly not offended here.......The rifle should have no problems clearing $2500 on it's own.....It's a tough code/date to find in decent condition(and it's a low serial #'d one)......The durofol handguard is certainly a nice addition....One just recently sold on eBay for $400......Add to it, potentially $250+ for a stock manual/spare parts kit......The scope alone could bring $600, depending on who's looking for one......And a run of the mill, repro mount $150........Add a premium IF it's a 'G43' marked magazine......Rifle has lots of potential IMO.....Bodes
