I have never seen an original for sale!! loads of postwar about though, could someone post some pictures of an original so i can see the difference please. This would be interesting i know the originals are supposed to be expensive but whats the price range?

I payed approx £650 for one at Beltring about 3/4 years ago,ex Norway from the guy who wrote the fab book on the MG34/42.Expensive but I was really pleased to have one at last.There always seems to be one or two at Beltring for sale and not long to go now to the Militaria feast at the Hopfarm.I can't wait, five days of buying all that T/R gear! Can post some pics of mine when I get home if you like.Reagrds Jerry.

There was one that sold on ebay awhile back for 2,945.00$ (two months ago), I have seen them go on a foreign (non-US) ebay site for 1200$ or so....
