Chad- Are there 2 WaA749 on the wood (left side) and is the wood serialed to match on the bottom of the butt stock?

If you have the two correct waffenamts, then yes, it would appear that the wood has been lightly sanded...

I have a complete mint darkwood K-43 with matching numbers from Berlin Damlier Puck 1945 model. Unmessed piece. It contains the K-43 stamping on the magazine.
Deactivated old spec, it can be stripped and dryfired.

I have the zf-4 scope with the protective eyerubber in very good condition wich will match the karabine for the guy who has the zf4 mont.

My question is wich countrys can it be shipt to from Norway?

            (the stg.44 is sold)

              bcd G43

The bcd G43 pictured first in this thread has only the 1 visible Waffenampt, and the stock is numbered to match the rifle.

Chad1, If you look at page 105 of Hitler's Garands at pic 160, you can see an example of the two "WaA749" waffenamts found on bcd stocks.

The "WaA749"'s go much further across the bottom of the eagles than is apparent in the marking on your stock. A close up of the marking on your stock would be much appreciated.

As to Jotuntroll's question on which country would accept a weapon from Norway, I would think the question should be what potential buyers would be willing to fight the red tape to import such a weapon.

The additional cost and pain of dealing with two bureaucracies are something I would avoid. I do not know of any individual collectors who would be willing to endure that cost/drain on their time.
