    g33/40 dot 1942

    Hi
I have been offered a deactivated g33/40 marked dot 1942, without cleaning rod and without sight hood, no matching bolt for 1100 euros.
    Rifle is in good-fair condition.
I would like to know if you think it is a fair price.
    regards
    Ace

          Ace,
I'm sure no expert, but I now have a couple of G33/40s. By lurking on the G43 forum, seems like even one with a mis matched bolt is running over 1K USD. Whyn't you go over there and look around... Here's where they live......

            Ronnie:

Thanks for the + plug, I do appreciate it. As far as a bolt MM 33/40 I agree, minimum $1k here in the US. With great wood as much as $1.5K to $1.75K. However, there are many other factors such as sanded or cleaned wood which can impact value.

Also, this rifle is a deact in Europe which can be (I'm not sure) a reduction in value.

Post photos of possible and we can at least tell you what you have from there.
