mp40 pouches

Hello everybody,

I'm making a new website fully dedicated to the mp40 family of Submachineguns

I now want to start a page that handels the mp40 Pouches. Too be honest this is not my speciality. I was wondering if you have more information on this subject and off course pictures of original pouchs that I can use. I mainly interested in:

Versions (canvas, leather, colours)
Obscure versions (Volksturm, SS?)
Fabric used
(secret) production codes and factories
issue dates
Post war information (Israel, Czech, Norway, etc)


Off course I'm also still interested in new serial numbers of mp38/40/41's or any other interesting info, please mail to info@mp40.nl (the serial list is not very impressive yet so come on and help me!)

The search function is your friend. There IS information such as you are asking for in the archived threads, as I found out myself when trying to learn enough about MP40 pouches to know fake from real. Best of luck with the site, MP40 = the coolest subgun ever.
