1911A1 remington question

a vets daughter wants to sell me her dads 1911a1 remington rand pistol and holster, that he carries in ww2. serial 1765--- looks like 1944 manufacture. what is the going price of these. its 95 percent finish or better.. im only educated in german militaria..thanks tom

Pretty hard to tell without photos, but if it's original and truly 95% it's a $1250 pistol, if it's 97% condition it a $1400 pistol; if it's 98% it's $1500 and so on.

thanks for info. i have not bought any guns since the late 90,s i guess the price has went up considerably.. i should be able to get it soon..thanks tom
