DAK Pistolentasche. Please give me your opinions

    Hello guys,

I wonder what you think of this canvas ´Pistolentasche´. I think it´s a DAK one. But I like to ask for your opinions. Is it a period one and for what pistol could it be? The item is marked with LUX.

    Regards,

    Grenadier

Never seen anything like it before. To the best of my knowledge, there were no DAK specific pistol holsters. There was possibly some all web MP40 pouches but, these can also be late war pouches similar material wise as MP44 magazine pouches.

I have no good feelings about this holster.

The material looks Czech to me.... Stitching is not how it belongs to be.
                    I don't like it....
No traces of use, looks almost new to me IMO

And I have never seen a holster like this before..

I' am not sure If I'am correct but I thought that recently a similair one has been sold on the e-stand here.
There it got a few good reactions.

I also don't get any good vibes on this one. Never saw anything this well made - so factory - in period photos or for sale.
The Holster on estand was for a pre-war Czech ZI Rast-Gasser m98. I have one that was used in N.Africa to carry a Luger (It won't take a p38 at all).
I would shy away from the above holster - it's too well made for a field manufactured item.

The holster has details that are not consistent with authentic tropical web gear, such as the all web six MP38/40 pouches.

                          My opinion is also negative.

                            Hello,
this holster reminds me some postwar french holster made from WWII german material, maybe for the Indochina war

Thanks for the reactions guys! So it seems to be a bad one.
