    How do you find yours?
I bought it from a large collection of guns 15 years ago...it's an original 80's USGI sniper rifle.
It has a McMillan stock full bedded, NM Heavy weight Barrel (1982 USGI Contract), brookfield gas piston, spring guide and mount. The scope is a Leupold.

I have also a Springfield made USGI M14 rifle in the standard configuration(It came from Israel)

I love the M14 Rifle...The best 7.62 Rifle ever made for me....Also the BM59 is a great rifle but heavier and not so accurate

        FS:
What I stated above about chopping up M14s also applied to Winchester 75s and M1 Garands and M1 carbines and Colt M1911s during the Clinton Administration. Untold thousands were destroyed usually with a metal shearer.
I won't go any further with this because it could lead to a political discussion which I have been told is verboten here.

Hi, I know this post is a few years old, I found it as i was looking over the internet re: the above, you were looking to find/buy.
Are you still looking? If so i may have what you want.

Still in its class A format (front line) with fully automatic fire lever. Dated 1962, made by Winchester military cartouche in stock. Old spec deactivation in 1989.
Stunning and a rare rifle in original condition, 95% blueing with no pitting or breaks, can be dry fired and fully field stripped. I guarantee you will not find a better example.
