Bill, it along with Jimmy Cagney's Broomhandle have been in my keeping now for about six months. The Farouk gun is usually brought up to the table after dinner to be passed around among guests while we finish off a couple of bottles of wine.

On a more serious note was his collection sold/auctioned off after he was overthrown in Egypt?

It was auctioned in Switzerland after he died in exile. I don't know whether he died in France, Switzerland or Italy but I think the latter as he spent most of his later years in Italy.
