Here's the story. As we gathered for the first walkthru of the SOS this year, Bill Grist asked me what I was looking for. I replied that I'd love to have a G33/40. Within an hour, he had spotted TWO. Here's the one I got, and our compadre Barry Edwards got the other.

Hate to be the one to break it to you but that bolt has been renumbered.

I would love to see the secondary proofs and the firing proof on that bolt but font and placement are all wrong.

Also, that is a late 33/40 to have an externally proofed. Not saying that the stock is bad but I would love to see the external and internal numbering on the stock.
