very nice, the ss marking is original,nice rifle,years ago I have own one like this

I doubt that it would be worth much since it has been "messed" with after issue and is in non factory condition !

Just kidding about the value (but not about the post factory alteration), it looks like a correct SS alteration too me, Nice rifle.

Looks like a nice one, marked just like one I vet bought along time ago, unfortunatly he tried to sporterise it and cut the stock up and it was an all matched piece to, serial number 1577T. Nice find!
