    Norweigan 1914 Holster

After looking for a LONG time, this one showed up on my doorstep last weekend. Along with 13 other very interesting WWII German holsters. Matt, do you still have yours?? Wanna sell the ammo pouch??

                Ronnie,

Of course I still have mine! and no, I don't want to sell my mag pouch!

Your holster is actually the first variation of these, with the Norweigen "crown/H.V." marking on it. Now Ronnie, my question to you is; do you have what goes inside this holster????
                I love the M1914.

The first photo below, shows the second variation of the M1914 holster. Basically the same as Ronnies' above, without the markings.

Here is the triply mag pouch that Ronnie was referring to.

Now this photo shows the third variation of the M1914 holster. Notice the front closure strap is cut straight rather than at an angle as the two above are. Also note that stitiching for the lifting strap is sewn in a complete square rather than just two lines.

The other big difference of the third variation is the back. Notice that it has a single wide belt loop rather than two smaller ones as the two holsters above.

Yes, there is also a fourth variation of this holster. (sorry, I don't have one!) It is basically the same as the 3rd, only is has a waffenampt "eagle/WaA84" on the back, right side of the belt loop. I personally have never seen a real one of the type 4 variation. Beware of fakes of these!!
