Luger Holster and K98 vet Bring Backs

I live in a small town and am friendly with the owner of our small town gun store to the point that if anything "Nazi" walks into the store he gives me call for the privilege of first refusal.

I picked these up last week. The first is my second K98 in as many weeks. I haven't seen a good deal on a vet return K98 in a few years. In the past 2 weeks, I've come across two. It's a 1943 CE (JP Sauer and Sohn) all matching except for the bolt, which is completely matched to itself. It has a weak strike of the maker and date on top of the receiver. It has much of the finish gone, but I like the looks of it!

I think there should be a small eagle above the H, but it looks like it got taken out that dent.

This is the bottom of the stock. If you turn your head to the left and squint a little, you might see a very faint waffenamt of some kind.

It came with an orginal sling in decent condition.

My second pick up from the gun store was this nice P-08 Luger Holster. The store owner chose to sell the pistol seperate from the holster. It was a WWI Luger with a WWII era barrel. Nothing I wanted. But I did take the holster.

It is marked "CARL ACKVA BAD KREUZNACH 1939."
