hope this interests some of you folks. My wife found a garage sale last week advertised on the local computer channel. it listed guns as a part of the sale.I called to see what was available.three of the normal old commonm guns and a real nice one the guy said. its a over under, i think it is a lightning. I thought at once it must be a browning superposed over under as that is thier name for thier lightweight model. turned out to be a 1963 20 gage browning superposed over under with a gorgeous light brown stock and almost perfect bluing, and barrels are mirror bores. book is a couple grand and a 50 percent add for 20 gage. i paid his asking price , less than a third of that. I was sitting here waiting on a guy to call me on an arisaka 99 and my wife pipes up with this gem! only problem is i have to pay her half the cost of what i buy so the nicer the stuff she finds , the more it cost me. .now i am hoping the 99 arisaka guy doesn't call for a week or so so i can recover my gun money account. But wow that shotgun is gorgeous. i am advertising for a correct browning case for same . gun is long tang , round knob, barrel address and date code match, barrells 28 inch, and stock is oem 14 and a qtr lop.chokes are imp and mod i believe. thought you shotgun collectors out there would appreciate.

Reminds me of when I went to look at some German stuff, the fellow did not want any guns, so offered me a Browning Citori 20 gauge over/under for $100.00. I told him it was worth more, but he said he wanted to gut 'THAT GUN' out of the house, so he could feel safe!
My wife likes it for trap shooting.
