I got this holster from a friend but don't know anything about it. It looks like a German WWII-era holster to me. Can anyone identify what pistol was intended to be worn in this holster? Am I correct that this is a WWII German item? Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

not sure as some features look like it's german but others don't.
the brass flap peg button certainly looks german but the two rivets in the flap don't to me.
maybe it was modified as many were.
there are no maker marks at all?Comment

It is absolutely unmarked. I was thinking this might be a commercial holster?Comment

It's probably German or maybe Czech. I would say that it is post-war.
