I'm going to change the direction of this thread a bit but stay with Colts. This is a 40 year old Colt Cobra I own. It has never been fired and it took some effort to swing the cylinder out to record the serial number. You can tell this is an unfired gun because the inside of the barrel and chambers are still blued. The reason the finish appears murky is it's still covered with the factory protective grease it was coated with prior to shipping. The reason I'm posting this is Colt ,SSA aside, is no longer making revolvers and values are starting to go up particularly for unused examples such as this one. If there is any interest I can post more on this subject.

A collector friend gave me a holster and box of ammo after I told him, and showed him my colt.
I thought I would try a small group photo. I guess I am on the hunt for some ww2 colt mags, and a belt and a mag pouch, and, and, and, that is
