Walther P38

Hi,

I have the opportunity to buy this deactivated P38. I will put it on a mannequin. It's marked byf42 and it's deactivated after "old" specifications, it can (if I've understood this correct) be stripped and has moving parts. I have no experience with firearms so any thoughts would be welcome. The price is approx. $750. Fair?

Based on UK deactivated prices seems around the correct price. Somewhat hard to tell condition as pics need improving somewhat. Be nice if you could do more pics of the markings.
