Hey guys.

I wanted to post some pics of my Baretta 38/42, all matching numbers
and stock, completely functional and full-auto. I am not sure if the
sling is WWII vintage or not. It is very similar in a lot of ways, to the
MP-40. Very docile to shoot. It has one trigger for semi-auto, then
the other trigger is for rock-and-roll !!!
The Barettas' were favored the the German troops, and they were
finely machined (but not over-engineered) weapons. Enjoy !!

Here is a canvas pouch that came with the weapon. It was told to
me as "paratrooper pouch". I was buying the weapon, not the pouch
but since it was part of the deal...
The pouch has no markings that I can tell, and the seller didn't know
much about it either.
Any input here would be appreciated.

I came across the model that shows a similar pouch, so I take it
that such a thing existed. That is the best I can do from my
research...

Very nice SMG, if I beleive they were a favorite of the german paras.

Wow Beautiful gun! I have a de-activated one I bought a few years back for wall hanging. Intrestingly it has German acceptance marks on it.
