My eyes are very poor and the label is small but I believe it is yellow tracer for the 8X57 Mauser rifle.

Thank you. Sorry about the pictures, I can't do much with the resizing of them for some reason. I would like to know a value of them, please. There is only half a box left.

The actual bullet has a black tip.

My mistake... The box is full.

Does anyone know of a fair value, he wants to sell them to me but I have no idea what they are worth...

            Thank you, Jeff

              Hi Jeff,

The black tipped bullet shows that it is tracer (LSpur on the label). The S.m.K on the label and the red primer sealant means that it is also armor piercing.

I have seen this ammo for sale for under $10 but I think somewhere between $15 and $25 is fair. Recently, German 8mm ammo has been showing up less, at least, in my experience. I didn't see much for sale at the SOS.

For top collector interest the rounds should match the markings on the box label. The head stamp marks on the case should match the "Patrh" marking on the box as to maker, lot & date.

              Regards, Leon
