    WTB repro MGs

    Hello,

    You Guys seem to be in the know. I am looking for repro weapons for display. Like the old MGC-MP-40. Is Shoei the only way to go? They are so darn expensive!
    I would like an MP-38, MP-40, FG-42, and even an MG-42. Not blank firing, just display models made of life like materials.

    For the FG42 and MG42 Shoei is the only way to go. For a MG34 you will have to find a used Asahi MG34, not cheap. MP38s were never made as a replica AFAIK, airsoft MP40s are offered by Marui (out of production) and TOP but are again not cheap. A used MP41 by Marushin is another option, rare and expensive. And last but not least the MKb42H and MP44 from Shoei, superb quality but ... yes you've guessed it: Expensive!

    There are some flimsy rather bad quality plastic MP40 replicas floating around but I'd advice against them, they're just a waste of money.
