I was offered this in a trade, I was told it was a bringback and a training rifle for the German Armed Forces. I know absolutely squat about these, can anyone offer me information, value, demand, rarity, thanks in advance!

It 'tis a Nazi trainer. Too bad it's missing the front of the stock. Appears like an orig sling. I like it still and I would buy it/trade for it... Made by Simpson. These are not a rare bird, but also no commone either. Problem is, not a huge trainer following and that sported stock... Value is for you to detemine....
