I have a 1941 Mauser 98 made in the gustaloff werke (BCD)
it has a matching bolt and everything, but has been re-barreled (i think) with a Belgan barrel (i think a guy researched it for me it has loads od crowns on it and it is 8mm) and has a sporter stock and is missing the sight hood. The sling may be original but no markings can be found. The rifle is also strangely absent of eagles only 2 found one small one on the lower right side of recever and one under the crook of the handle (they are so well concealed that i did not notice it when i bought it and was told it was "swedeish or czek") . Anyways, i would like to add a military stock and a hood.
where is a good place to find one and is it worth it other than esthetically?
