Hi guys, I want to ask you about a P38 mag: it has no WaA, no maker code, no serial number - nothing. Only marked P.38 and smething like a tiny triangle or a dot after the 38. So, marked that way, is it wartime or postwar? And is it military issue, or for the civil market /if there was such/. Thanks!

It is wartime manufacture. The "v" was added starting in Feb. of 1943. So there is no acceptance stamp on the spine?? If not it could be a commercial mag. With the round welds, I would guess Walther made this mag.

Please check the base of the spline. Sometimes there is an E/88 which is hard to see.
Other wise Ron is right. It was issued to a late model HP.
