    Nice!

I love it. And yes, all of those parts you showed in the pics are correct!

    Do you shoot often?

Where in Italy are you? My family has relatives who live in Salo on Lago di Garda. We were there several years ago and traveled throughout the north. We skied in Brunico and Cortina.

Good thing it is not messed with. It would be a shame for a rifle that beautiful to be deactivated. Do you have any history behind it?

In English:Hello, I am much content that you like it... with the gun I often
do not talk nonsense to us, why I have fear that breaks off some
piece, then I would not know where to find again it.... eh eh eh
however I have also other guns for the note others 9 (k98, 1903-A1,
mosin nagant, etc) with which I talk nonsense and I make spin... I
dress in Tuscany close Lucca, you know it? it watches on one cartina
of Italy... It remembers to you that if returns in Italy, to telephone
to me therefore we will be able to gladly know a lot... from the lago
of garda to house mine is approximately 300 Km... I send to you if you
want my number to it of telephone for private message ? Ciao...

A garand can go from 300-3000 dollars in the USA. If it is original and not rebuilt after the war, it is about 3000, even more money if its blued instead of parkerized. 300 dollars are the ones bought back from Greece. You have one of the higher end ones, yours would be about 2000 dollars which is about the price yours would be.

                  Ciao CAFI.

Josh is right on the money. Your rifle might be around $2000 USD...maybe even more. It's definitely a beauty! Although the lowest end CMP rifles are now up to $450.

You must be using a translator to type some of your English? I think I understood that you don't shoot your rifle for fear of breaking it? Yes, that's understandable. If you ever need a replacement part, let me know. They are pretty easy to find in the U.S., but as always, expensive. But really, you're not going to break it. Go out and shoot a few clips through it every now and then, and enjoy it for what it was meant to do. If you clean it well, you won't hurt it.

                  Ciao!

I would say it would be good to shoot too, remember, it is a military rifle that was meant to be shot often, and without breaking as a break in a rifle would not be healthy for a soldier with bullets flying over his head.

When you shoot it, give us a range report. You will enjoy shooting it.
