Pistol ID Help??

I'm more of a Winchester/Remington man myself when it comes to firearms so I need a little help. I actually forgot I had this little jewel till I found it in the back of my gunsafe where it's been sitting for many years. Chech (I think) pistol with original clip and neat little holster. Any ideas, value? Thanks, Alex

I have never seen one of these but since it bears waffenamts it was surely a wartime piece. If the old adage about "The higher the rank, the smaller the weapon" is right, this must have belonged to a high ranking officer.
