    scope for K98?

    Hello from Europe
    what do you think about this scope
    is it a civilian scope for K98 WW2 or is it WW1 or something else..
    the scope,mount and leather box are at the same number

    This is certainly a commercial rig. It predates WW2 easily , and may be pre WW1 - I think Emil Busch as a company did not survive after the great war (?).
    These claw arrangements were put on mauser rifles of course as well as oodles of single shot rifles and Drillings.
