BSW made these MG13/mags for sure, as Garz Cain stated.

A 20 or 25 round mag for the K98k was not build for the german soldier in WW2, unlike WW1, where the Grabenmagazin is an official improvement of the G98.

These modified MG13-mags are widely known, but you will never find them in an official manual or something else, or even in a wartime foto because they are postwar.

    Fake, 100%.

Dunno about if the mag is genuine or not for the K98 but I dont think the fnh on it is a manufacturers code? I have an MG13 mag sitting here and it has a group of letters in the same place - in my case it has a 2, then an R, something I can't make out, an upside down Y then a W, I'm sure they mean something but I dont think they are a makers code as they are kinda stamped randomly??

As pointed out , these are fantasy fakes. It was not popular even in the great war and discarded in great numbers by the troops in the field. Though made in large quantities in the first war and very sturdy and functional , the germans did not make that mistake again during the second war.

It's also a shame to ruin good MG-13 mags.

            Hello all,
Does anybody knows if grabenmagazin was used in World War 2?
A member of my ww2 reenactment unit uses a converted mg13 magazine for his k98k. Another member claims they were used in ww2, so it's suitable for ww2 reenactment. Personally I have never seen pics of them in use.
            Thanks for answer!
            Regards Peter

why would you not want an extra 20 rounds for a k98 in combat?
