Question?

I have one of those Yugo M48 rifles, it looks identical to the G33/40 except for the metal stock hardware. Is it just me? What am I missing? I am seriose, I really want to know. The bottom of my bolt is flat, not hollow, even the sight looks the same. Please, inform me! Thank's

Two totally different rifles here. What's different:

-bolt, rear sight, front sight hood, cleaning rod, barrel bands, barrel length, stock, buttplate, upper hand guard, and magazine floorplate/trigger housing.

What's the same? Basically the caliber!

Hope this helps? Your sight on your M48 should not be the same as a G33/40. Can you post photos of it?

I was just curiose apparently I was way off. Just a look they seemed the same. As far as the sight? It is most likely not the G3340 sight, this junker was a hundred dollar rifle, any similarity to a G3340 is purly and totally unjustified.
Thanks for the information any way. It put my question to rest.
