We have in Norway a lot of G-33/40 rifles, after the war they were designated the Norwegian Police and stamped POLITI and a serialnumber on top of the chamber, right side. Apart from the stamping, the guns is unthuched and had service (almost lost in the weaponlocker) until 2005. I have bought some when they were taken out of service.

    Best regards, Tom

Hello Besslein, back in 1980, Policeofficers in Norway could buy ex-serviceweapons from the armory. I bought Mauser G-33/40, Luger P-08, Mauser 1914, Mauser 1934, Mauser HSc, Walther PP. Paid $25 each !!!!!!

        Best regards, Tom
