    Flammenwerfer 41 mit Strahlrohr

On request, some pictures of the Fl.W. 41 m. Strahlrohr. All OD that can be seen was applied postwar, and is gradually being removed.....

Note WaA, three letter code and "M" for Coastal artillery issue:

Note tool in holder and small weight-support strap on the left:

    Key for refilling of Öl:

Note Mündungsschoner (identical to the ones for K98k and MP40, except for the size!) and tube protector (both "male" and "female" types was used)

Repeating mechanism designed at the Mauserwerke:

    Support strap in use:

25 stück Zündpatronen für Patr. Strahlrohr xxx (makers code is unreadable). Shiny cartridge is a new-made drill purpose round.

WOW. Very, very nice. They don't get better than that. With all the original zubehör and ignition cartridges as well. A very rare peace of equipment / weapon. I don't think that I ever heard about such a complete set before. Congratulations.
How do you go about to remove the green postwar paint? I have found it difficult to remove such paint, without damaging the underlaying original paint.

Oh my.. That is painstaking work. A ton of patience is really needed then. But on the bright side - you have done good work, and it has really payd off. I don't think there are many of these around with so much of the original paint still present.

Great work Bergflak. A super flamethrower with a couple of rare items attached wich often is gone like the tool and the support strap

The mecanism is really compact and technical!

            Kind regards

              Flammenwerfer 41,

Beautiful and complete Flammenwerfer 41, I still regret it that I didn’t bought the one offered on the La Gleize show last June, thanks for sharing.
