    P38 mag.

    Hi
    I recently got this p38 mag.

    I have had the p38v mags and also a p38U one like this before.. only this p38u marking is very large compared to the last one i had.

    What does the U stands for??

      Hi Jacob,

      That is a late war marking meaning that the feed lips on the magazine were not hardened. It is the initial for the German word "ungehärtet" which means unhardened.
