iv got an mp44 late war one can anyone give me the present day value of it for insurance at the moment iv got it just on the general house policy iv had it for 4 yrs now it is deactivated

Old or new spec deact? Most seem to be old spec.

I would insure it for a minimum of £2000.

I see them sell on a regular basis for £1,800 to £2000.

I would agree with that figure, there were several for sale at Beltring this year one at £1,800,they always seem to sell like hot cakes. Even the jap repros are selling for £800!
